Options Trading Course in Chennai
A large share of the people who take up derivatives in this city arrive with a specific figure in mind. Forty thousand a month towards the home loan. Twenty-five thousand towards school fees. A number attached to a real obligation.
That figure feels like discipline — a goal, written down, taken seriously. It is the single most damaging input you can bring to this instrument, and the reason is arithmetic rather than attitude.

A rupee target forces you to be largest when you are worst
Follow what a monthly target actually does across a few months.
The market supplies what it supplies. It does not produce amounts on request, and it certainly does not produce the same amount every month. So in a month where opportunities are thin or positions have gone against you, the target has not been met and the shortfall is real — the loan instalment is still due.
The only lever available to close a shortfall is size. So you take a larger position, or a more aggressive one, or both, specifically because the month has gone badly.
Look at what that means. The target makes your largest exposure coincide with your worst stretch. Every sound approach to risk says the opposite — reduce after losses, not increase — and a monthly income figure inverts it automatically, without any lapse in discipline and without anybody deciding to be reckless. The rule did it.
There is a second effect, quieter and just as costly. A target creates a deadline, and a deadline changes which positions look acceptable. Structures that need three weeks stop being viable in the last week of the month. Near-dated positions with fast decay start looking necessary. The instrument choice is being driven by the calendar rather than by a view.
And a third: the money has already been spent. Committing derivative income to a fixed obligation means a bad month is not just a loss in an account — it is a shortfall against something that has to be paid regardless, which is the condition under which people make their worst decisions.
What replaces a target
The alternative is not the absence of a plan. It is a plan that runs in the other direction: decide what you are prepared to lose, not what you intend to make.
Set a monthly risk budget. A rupee figure you can lose in a month without anything in your life changing. That number is knowable in advance, entirely within your control, and unlike a profit target it does not require the market's cooperation. Size positions against it.
Let the outcome be whatever it is. Some months will produce nothing. That is not a failure requiring correction; it is the ordinary distribution of an activity with variable outcomes. The months that produce nothing are precisely the months a target would have pushed you to take more risk in.
Reduce after losses rather than increasing. If the account is down, the correct response is smaller positions until it recovers, which is the exact opposite of what a shortfall demands. Writing this rule down before it is needed is the only version that survives a bad month.
Fund the obligation from income that is contractual. The loan instalment should be paid by the salary. If derivative activity produces something, it can go towards a prepayment — a bonus rather than a budget line. The distinction sounds semantic and it decides how you behave in March when the month has gone badly.
This is uncomfortable to sell, because a course that promises a monthly figure is easier to buy than one that tells you to stop wanting one. We are not going to promise the figure, and no assured or guaranteed return is offered anywhere on this site.
What the programme covers, and the order it runs in
Futures, Options & Derivatives Mastery runs ten modules, and the sequence exists so that nothing gets introduced before the machinery needed to judge it.
The contract, first. What a strike and an expiry oblige you to, what a lot means for the exposure you are really carrying, and why index contracts settle in cash while single-stock ones settle by delivery.
Collateral, second. How the blocked amount is arrived at, why it moves on a position you have not touched, what a shortfall costs, and the difference between the amount blocked and the amount at risk — which is the distinction this page's argument rests on.
Then why prices move. The Greeks as explanations rather than definitions, and the option chain read as a live market including its depth, not as a static table.
Then the positions themselves. Long options, vertical spreads, straddles and strangles, and defined-risk combinations — every one introduced with its worst outcome as a figure before its best.
Then selling, with the risk described plainly, and expiry, which arrives weekly on the index.
Then sizing and loss limits, which for anybody who arrived at this page with a monthly figure in mind is the module worth the fee on its own.
Recorded throughout, WhatsApp support for questions, Hindi-English mix, and no schedule to fall behind.

Fees, and who should not enrol
Futures, Options & Derivatives Mastery is Rs 10,000 against an MRP of Rs 23,000. Paid once, access does not lapse, later additions included, enrolment at study.thefinbaba.com. No classroom batch exists in T. Nagar or anywhere else in the city.
Three people should not buy this.
Anybody who needs the money to arrive. If a derivative outcome is already committed to an obligation, this activity will make that obligation harder to meet rather than easier. That is the argument of this entire page and it applies to enrolling as much as to trading.
Anybody who has not owned shares directly. An option is a claim on an underlying, and judging that underlying is assumed here rather than taught. The beginners programme at Rs 2,500 covers it.
Anybody looking for positions to follow. There is no tips group, no signal service and no morning message on this site, and none appears later at a higher tier.
Options can lose more than the amount blocked against them, and a sold option can lose far more than the premium it collected. The free WhatsApp demo comes before any payment. The instructor is Atul Shrivastava — 16+ years trading, 8+ years mentoring, and a registered Zerodha Authorised Person (AP2516003481).

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the fee for the options trading course in Chennai?
Rs 10,000 against an MRP of Rs 23,000. The same programme and price nationally, with no city variant. One payment, permanent access, all future updates, and a free WhatsApp demo before you commit.
Can I earn a fixed monthly income from options?
No approach reliably produces a fixed monthly amount, and setting one as a target actively worsens your results. A shortfall in a bad month can only be closed by taking more risk, so the target makes your largest exposure coincide with your worst stretch.
What should I set instead of an income target?
A monthly risk budget — the amount you can lose without anything in your life changing. It is knowable in advance, entirely in your control, and it does not require the market to cooperate. Size positions against that figure and let the outcome be what it is.
Can I use this to pay my home loan EMI?
The instalment should be paid from contractual income. If derivative activity produces something, treat it as a possible prepayment rather than a budget line. Committing the outcome in advance is what forces bad decisions in a month that has gone poorly.
Are there classroom batches in Chennai?
No. Everything is recorded with WhatsApp support and a live session when a topic needs walking through, so a heavy month at work costs momentum rather than access.
